Math Tutoring

AFTER FIRST SESSION:
After just this first session, I have a good feeling about Cara [tutor]. After the session, Max admitted with very little coaching that he thinks the tutoring idea is a good one, whereas previously he had totally resisted the idea. So I anticipate some success. I think the tutoring is showing him that he is not totally lost.

ONE MONTH LATER:
Alex just called me at work to tell me he scored a 92% on his math test! He was so happy! Previous to the tutoring, this boy had a D average. Even the fact that he would call his mother at work to tell me about his academics is incredible! We are so grateful.

AP Statistics Preparation

Mandarin Chinese Tutoring

Hi RedKey,

I am very pleased, Wei Li is exactly what we were looking for. We have tried a couple of other Chinese "teachers" before and they really didn't have the experience to teach something as foreign as Chinese to a 6 year old with no Chinese language point of reference. I sat in on part of the lesson and listened to all of it and thought that Wei Li has an excellent approach that will yield the hoped for results in time. She is able to give an intensive lesson but without making it too difficult or boring. It helps immensely that she has the knowledge and the obvious experience to customize her teaching to her student. We couldn't be happier. Her plan for the presentation at school is also top notch too and Michaela and her classmates are looking forward to it (as am I). Thanks very much for all your help.
